What is PTE?
PTE is an English Language Proficiency Test which covers the basic language skills: Listening, Reading Writing, and Speaking. PTE Academic measures your English language skills in a single, short test.
Owned and managed by Pearson VUE. Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE Academic) is accredited by OFQUAL (the Office of Qualifications and Examinations Regulation) in England as ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages) International qualifications. PTE is Accepted by the Australian, New Zealand, USA & UK governments and trusted by over 3,000 universities and colleges
The overall testing time for the PTE Academic Test is about 2 hours and 15 minutes.

Test Format
PTE can be taken in 2 ways: PTE Academic at Test centre or PTE Academic Online at Home. PTE Academic Online uses the exact same test content, scoring and format as PTE Academic in a test center. PTE Academic is taken on a computer. There are three parts of the test with 20 different question types in the test, ranging from multiple choice through to essay writing. It tests your skills in speaking and writing, reading, and listening. PTE Academic is accepted worldwide for study and immigration.
Registration for the exam
Exam fee Rs. 14,700/-
Deadline: Recommended to register for PTE Exam minimum 2 weeks prior to exam date • Exams are generally held 3 to 4 times a week
Test results will be to the candidates within 5 working days from the examination date
Results are valid for two years
